LIPTA SCORE REPORTING
(Instructions have been revised as of 12/30/2009.)

 1. Each captain is required to enter all information from the LIPTA scoresheet after each match. As soon as both captains submit their entries (provided they match), the website information will be updated without human intervention. Each captain's submission requires the use of his personal and private captain's password. This password should not be given to anyone else for their use. Any fraudulent submission using a captain's password will be used as proof of the captain's (and his team's) inclusion in the fraud. If you think your password has been compromised, contact the League Chairman who will asign you a new password.

 2. All players must appear on your club's roster page on the LIPTA website to appear in your club's player drop-down lists. Be courteous to your opposing captains; they are required to enter your rosters - just as you are required to enter theirs. Make sure you give and get first and last names on scoresheets and ensure that all players you are using (including those from lower divisions within your club) are listed on your club's roster page on the LIPTA website before the match.

 3. Be diligent in selecting the players from the drop-down lists. Several clubs have more than one player with the same or similar name. The player's division is shown on the drop-down list as an aid.

 4. Matches on this e-form are listed in the same order as the LIPTA scoresheet available on this website. Record the correct matches in the correct sequence.

 5. Always record all scores from the winning team's perspective. If the AWAY team wins 6-3, 6-4, don't record it as 3-6, 4-6.

 6. If both clubs are defaulting the same match (therefore, fewer than 6 points are being awarded), select 'default' as the winning team, record 'default' in 'set one', and select 'default' for each player.

 7. If both players of a team are not present for the start of the match, that team is defaulted. Select the winning team, record 'default' in 'set one', and select 'default' for each player.

 8. Once 4 players take the court to warm-up and a team doesn't continue (for any reason), that team retires. Record the completed sets and the completed games of the incomplete set. Again, record the score from the winning team's perspective. A team could win a match 0-6, 0-5, retire.

 9. If you do not know the complete score, select the winning team and record 'NSR' in set one. Don't enter a partial score.
