The week kicks off with the President's Cup, Thursday March 15th - 5 Men's Teams & 5 Women's Teams representing 6 APTA Regions will compete for the President's Cup. Men's Play will be at HCC-CHC-HBC, Women's play will be at NCC-CRK-PRC-PCC-PWY.

The Championships proper start at 7:30 Friday morning, the women get things going then the men start at 1:00pm. Play will be at all area clubs, go to www.lipta.com to see the Schedule of Events for the week. Spectators are encouraged and welcome at all clubs, come out and support the best the sport has to offer.

Saturday March 17th, while the Men's Quarter-Finals  - 5:30pm are being played there will be a BBQ at Huntington C.C. (Host Club & Main Venue) The BBQ has an extensive menu of grilled foods, and Guinness & Budweiser kegs. With temperatures predicted to be almost like summer, it will a great evening to come out and watch some exciting paddle.

Sunday morning, 9:00am Men's Semi-Finals, 11:00am Women's Finals, 1:30pm Men's Finals, there will be Sausage Biscuits, Bloody Mary's, plenty of Hot Coffee, all at no charge.

Chris Falvey(Setauket) + Don Mackenzie(Crest Hollow C.C.) defeated the Head of The Bay Club team of Tom Peer + Jed Dunne to take the LIPTA L.I. Men's "B" Championship.
